Jens Risom (JENSSREE-səm; 8 Could 1916 – 9 December 2016) was a Danish Americanfurniture author. An exemplar of Mid-Century contemporary design, Risom was one designate the first designers to originate Scandinavian design in the Banded together States.^[1]

Biography

Risom was born in Kobenhavn, Denmark, on 8 May 1916.^[2] His father was a unusual architect, Sven Risom, a shareholder of the school of Germanic Classicism.
